Main Street Electrical Parade
On Wednesday I went to Disneyland and stayed to watch the Main Street Electrical Parade! Â The parade stopped in the year 1971; which means it hasn’t been running for 47 years…Until now! Â Until June 18th of this year, you can see the magical Electrical Parade! Â Disneyland dimmed all of the lights in the park to really make the parade pop!
The parade is only 20minutes long. Â The catch is to get a good seat about 2 hours before. Â I was giddy like a child when the first float came. Â When I came home, my Dad said that he even remembers seeing this as a child which is so amazing to hear that it’s back.
There were some fun characters like a caterpillar, a bubble bee, and a snail.
And some of our favorite old  Disney movies like Snow White, Cinderella, Peter Pan.  As well with some recent addictions as Tinker Bell and all of her friends from Pixie Hollow, and Elliott the Dragon!  The parade ended with a Salute to America with a float our nations Flag, fireworks, and a Bald Eagle.  Here are some of my favorites!
Big Ben with the clock strike twelve to get ready for Peter Pan’s arrival! Â Unfortunately Jane and her siblings were not with Peter Pan.
Captain Hook’s ship!
Tinker Bell on her float with her Pixie Hollow friends on the ground saying ‘Hi’ to all the kids!
Dopey on the train with today’s finding in the mines with the rest of the Dwarfs and Snow White in tow.
And here is my absolute favorite float! It’s called “To Honor America” with the Flag, fireworks, and the beautiful Bald Eagle! Â They also played “Yankee Doodle Dandy” and had dancers all dressed up in Yankee Doodle costumes!
This is a parade I will definitely watch again!
Only 4 more months!
Sounds magical! Can’t wait to see it for myself.
It’s so amazing!
