Monthly Favorites-September

We are back again for another Monthly Favorites! As I say this all of the time, I seriously cannot believe that we’re already in October. I have some great picks for this month with food, makeup products, and a book recommendation! Hope you all enjoy this month’s favorites!
FOOD
Mozzarella ‘n Marinara ruffles
I tried these purely on accident. I was at my friends house watching old episodes of The Office on Netflix, when we both decided we were hungry. We were meeting up with our other friends later so, we decided to go for some snack foods. My friend went to her kitchen and came back with some ruffles and pretzels. Thinking that I was eating regular ruffles, I absentmindedly put a few into my mouth. Right then the taste of mozzarella sticks and marinara sauce with seasoning filled my mouth. I quickly looked at the bag confused to find that that’s exactly what is was. It was good! I couldn’t believe that I actually enjoyed them. I would highly suggest to give these a try!
Makeup
All Nighter Long Lasting Makeup Setting Spray by Urban Decay
My sister has had this setting spray for a while now and I really enjoy using it (thanks Mia) but, I had only used it a hand full of times. When I found out it was on sale at Ulta, I had to purchase one for myself. I have started using it a lot more now that I have a bottle of my own and I love it! It’s lightweight and smells so good! This product is advertised as keeping your makeup put for up to 16 hours. Though I haven’t tested that out yet, I definitely will!
Books
Snow Kissed By M.J. Padgett
I found this incredible book while at Barnes and Noble one day looking for a present for my a close family friend’s daughter. Like me, she enjoys reading and I thought a book would be the perfect gift. The artwork of this book caught my eye so, I picked it up and read the bottom of the front cover where it reads “The immortal Grimm Brothers’ Guide To Sociopathic Princesses Volume One”. I was immediately intrigued, so I brought it home to read for myself before giving the book as a gift. It ended up taking only a couple of hours to read as I was so enthralled and couldn’t put it down. It is very well written and you never know what’s coming next.
This book focuses on the Grimm Brother’s story Snow White and takes an unexpected dark turn on the well-known and loved fairy tale. I had so much reading it, that I ended up going back to the book store and purchasing a new one for my family friend for her birthday. I cannot wait until the rest come out!
Happy October!
