Book of the Month- Why is Everyone Hanging Out Without Me? (And Other Concerns) By Mindy Kaling
I love to read.  Reading helps me  escape from the daily stresses of life.  I also use it as an incentive to get work that is not particularly fun to do done so I am able to sit down and read.
So, I have decided to share what I’m reading each month, and you can comment with our thoughts on the book, like a book club!
This months book is Why is Everyone Hanging Out Without Me? (And Other Concerns) By Mindy Kaling. Â You may recognize her or the name from television shows like The Mindy Project and The Office.
Mindy Kaling is one of my favorite comedians. Â If you have ever seen any television show or talk show she’s been on you can understand why. Â She is hilarious! Â In her book, she gives life advice, talks about her childhood growing up in Massachusetts, learning to ride a bike, her internship walking on The Late Night Show with Conan O’Brien, etc. Â She puts her own quirky spin of comedy on it so while you’re reading and learning, you are also laughing. Â It’s a quick read, only 202 pages!
And as always..
I agree that’s a good book! Have you seen the article she wrote for Glamour Magazine in August called Mindy Kaling’s Guide to Killer Confidence?
Great new website. I’m looking forward to your future recommendations, fellow reader.
No, I haven’t read the Glamour Magazine article, but I’ll have to check it out! Thank you so much! 🙂
