The second book to James Dashner’s series of The Maze Runner. Â If you loved the first one, you’ll love this one! Â The Scorch Trails brings in a whole new story. Â What happens after the maze? Â With new challenges and new characters, Thomas and the others […]
This year, I’m planning on doing “How To” segment! It’s going to be some things that I’ve been through in my life–I will be trying to help others navigate through the tough times and the not so though times! Today’s “How To” is How To: […]
Being an identical twin, there were not a lot of television shows or movies that involved twins. So, when there were, we held onto them for dear life because we had finally found something that we related to.  Unfortunately for us, The Parent Trap wasn’t anything like being a twin in real life.
The Long Lost Twin.Â
Apparently that doesn’t happen too often. Â Mia and I were pretty upset that we never officially were able to meet and realized that there’s just not one of us, but two!
We always thought (because of this movie) that one of us was supposed to have a British accent. Â Unfortunately, that was not the case. Â We both had American accents.
The Hair Cut.
Now, this was a BIG one. Â Throughout our childhood years my Mom liked to keep our hair long. Â But in the movie, Hallie cuts Annie’s hair and they didn’t get into trouble. Â So, in our cute little 5 year old minds, we thought we’d do the same. Â We came downstairs with our hair cut..Let’s just say that my Mom didn’t have the same reaction as Annie’s Mom. (Unfortunately we don’t have a picture either).
All we wanted to do after seeing this movie was go on a camping trip but our family isn’t the camping kind. Â When we got older, we were so thankful for that. haha
A Butler and Nanny.
Aren’t all twins supposed to have one? I guess not.
We’re supposed to have one of those too? Right?
Mixing Up Our Parents.
Since Hallie and Annie could do it, we could too? Not at all. Â Fortunately and Unfortunately our parents COULD in fact tell us apart.
Luckily, we still love this movie, and we never really took anything that was done to heart (except the hair cutting..oops). Â We still watch it today when it’s on television.
My sister and I had our first Galentine’s Day. Â We’ve heard of it for a few years now, but never did it. Â We decided that since neither of us are currently dating anyone, we’d give it a try. Â Now Galentine’s Day (for those of […]
Valentine’s Day is soon approaching. Â I’ve decided to make a gift guide for all the last-mints shoppers for your loved ones, friends, significant other, and yourself! Â I mean, way not treat yourself? Â This holiday is for the people you love, and that includes you! Lokai […]
With Valentine’s day just around the corner, cute food treats are a must to celebrate this holiday! Â They’re fairly simple to make, so I thought I’d share!
What You’ll Need:
Colored Melting Chocolate
Some form of a holder to dry
A Large Bowl
A small Ice Cream Scooper
Anything you’d like to top them off with!
Bake the cake as normal.  Wait until the cake is fully cooled down before doing anything.
Once the cake is fully cooled, grab your bowl, and start crumbling your cake. Â Add frosting and mix. Â *I use my hands to mix because it’s easier to make sure you got everything, but it is messy!* Grab your ice cream scooper and form the cake into bite size balls.
Melt a little bit of chocolate and dip the stick in a few centimeters. Â Stick the chocolate side into the balls and put them into the freezer for 30 minutes to harden.
Grab your cake pop holder (I went to my local crafts store and bought a block to stick the cake pops in!) Â And take your pops out of the freezer after your 30 minutes. Â Melt your chocolate, and dip your pops in, making sure you’re covering everything! Â Add your sprinkles or extra cake (if you set it aside) and let the chocolate harden.
They don’t have to look perfect, and it’s ok if you mess a few up!
And Enjoy! You have wonderfully delicious cake pops!
It’s that time of year again! SUPER BOWL SUNDAY!  Although, my Eagles didn’t make the Super Bowl (let alone the play-offs) I am still very excited.  Spending the day with friends, watching the game, and the playful rivalries who can’t love this day?  I’ve picked some […]
Being inside all day can be a little boring. Â While watching the movie list, one might get a little hungry, especially with kids. Â And because it’s the new year and we’re all sticking to our resolutions I’ve made a (slightly healthy conscious) snack guide that […]
