How to Make Cake Pops!
With Valentine’s day just around the corner, cute food treats are a must to celebrate this holiday! Â They’re fairly simple to make, so I thought I’d share!
What You’ll Need:
- Cake Mix
- Frosting
- Colored Melting Chocolate
- Sticks
- Some form of a holder to dry
- A Large Bowl
- A small Ice Cream Scooper
- Anything you’d like to top them off with!
First:
Bake the cake as normal.  Wait until the cake is fully cooled down before doing anything.
Second:
Once the cake is fully cooled, grab your bowl, and start crumbling your cake. Â Add frosting and mix. Â *I use my hands to mix because it’s easier to make sure you got everything, but it is messy!* Grab your ice cream scooper and form the cake into bite size balls.
Third:
Melt a little bit of chocolate and dip the stick in a few centimeters. Â Stick the chocolate side into the balls and put them into the freezer for 30 minutes to harden.
Fourth:
Grab your cake pop holder (I went to my local crafts store and bought a block to stick the cake pops in!) Â And take your pops out of the freezer after your 30 minutes. Â Melt your chocolate, and dip your pops in, making sure you’re covering everything! Â Add your sprinkles or extra cake (if you set it aside) and let the chocolate harden.
They don’t have to look perfect, and it’s ok if you mess a few up!
And Enjoy! You have wonderfully delicious cake pops!
