Yes, things have already happened since last week that have required an update!
On the 4th of this month (four days without any medication), I think my body realized that I wasn’t accidentally missing dosages, but I’m no longer taking any medication. Â The headaches turned into horrible migraines (as if migraines weren’t bad enough) for about 3 days. Luckily, they have gone back to just annoying headaches. Â I also felt really weird and woozy, light headed, and off balance so I haven’t driven since–which, if you know me personally, I enjoy being out of the house even if it’s just going to the grocery store. Â So it’s been hard. Â I don’t trust myself to drive because I don’t know when I’m going to have dizzy spells and I don’t want to put myself and others in danger.
Luckily however, I googled how to ease some of these symptoms, and the first thing that came up was taking a nap! I love naps so much that my sister bought me a ‘nap queen’ sweatshirt for my last birthday. Â So I decided to “experiment” with trying out a nap to ease my symptoms and it actually worked! Â I didn’t have any wooziness once I woke up from my nap and I was so happy! Â I’m going to continue to take naps until I am officially free from my symptoms. Â While I am writing this I don’t have any symptoms. *knocks on wood*
I will definitely keep giving updates about my journey without medication. Â Hopefully they’re not as close in posts as these ones are.
